Why Carrere at Credit Agricole?

My job

I am working in Product Control, operating in both Bank and Securities entities of CA CIB Tokyo. This position gives me the opportunity to discuss and interact with different actors inside and outside the company (traders, salespersons, back offices, Clients). One interesting point of this location is that it gives me a chance to be part of the solution to problems occurring in many fields (trade booking, trade confirmation, interest calculation and settlement). It also brings me to participate in the conception of new activities such as the establishment of the US Treasury business recently. The point is to find a way to arrange the best service to our clients by using the most efficient and secure process.

Important things for my work

My function in Product Control is to control the input of transactions executed by traders. I play the role of a mechanic, insuring that the setting in trading systems and settlements with clients go smoothly and accurately according to the terms of contracts. This position requires and develops knowledge in financial products, trading systems, and negotiation skills. I also create and distribute trade valuation reports to clients.

Hence I must keep in mind the expectations of our clients and be service-oriented. Middle Office offers a good point of view to better understand the functioning and reasoning of a corporation. It gives me the ability to bring ideas in a useful manner.

On weekends, I often visit Tokyo and its surroundings, take pictures of anything that catches my attention, cycle to develop my stamina, play golf with friends and colleagues to relax.
I also enjoy cooking.
