I decided to join Credit Agricole because this company offers me opportunities to grow and gain professional experience. I always wanted to develop my skills and build a professional career in the financial industry. In order to achieve this goal, I thought Credit Agricole could be the best choice for me. The best thing about Credit Agricole is that young people can play an important role. In fact, many young people are working in positions of responsibility in each department. Although the environment is sometimes challenging, I think it is very good for someone who wants to develop professional skills.
I am now working in the Corporate Analyst Department, which is a part of the Risk Management Division of Credit Agricole. My main task is analyzing our clients’ credit risk by examining financial statements as well as qualitative information.
My job is often challenging, as it requires the ability to analyze and integrate all necessary information. In addition, my job requires a wide range of knowledge about accounting, finance, and banking. It is a learning process every day. Nevertheless, it is interesting to learn about diverse aspects of the banking business and I always enjoy learning new things.
I think two attributes are particularly important for my job. One is a positive attitude about learning. As I mentioned earlier, my job requires a wide range of knowledge. Also, the financial industry is changing fast every day. So I think it is quite important to learn new things to keep up with the latest developments.
The other attribute is the ability to cooperate with colleagues. Like any other job, my job can’t be done by a single person. The support of many people is essential. So building a cooperative relationship with coworkers is very important for my job.
For those who wish to start a career in the financial services industry, I think Credit Agricole can be a good choice. Experiencing many responsible and important jobs is a key factor for becoming a professional. Working with true professionals is another key factor because you can learn a lot from them. I think Credit Agricole offers an excellent environment for developing your professional skills.
